TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
We strive to maintain simplicity, clarity, and avoidance of excessive legal jargon in our Terms and Conditions. Our goal is for you to read and understand them fully, fostering a clear understanding of our relationship. By utilizing any of our services, you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. For any clarification on the interpretation of these terms, please contact us directly, and we will be happy to assist.
DEFINITIONS
In these Terms and Conditions, “We,” “Us,” and “Our” refer to PPI Tax Refund, a trading name of RESOLUTE MANAGEMENT GROUP LTD, with registered offices at Suite 16f Beehive Business Centre, Blackburn, BB1 2QS. “You” and “Your” refer to the individual(s) who have submitted a claim for overpaid tax via our website, pip-taxrefund.co.uk, involving the provision of personal information. “Claim” pertains to the overall process of instructing us to recover overpaid tax from HMRC on your behalf. “Claim Form” refers to the signed application form completed online. “Services” encompass the services provided by us, including assessing the viability of your claim and preparing and submitting it to HMRC.
WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU
You agree to cooperate with us to enable the provision of services in line with our obligations. To facilitate our services, you grant us full permission and consent to act on your behalf as your agent with HMRC. Additionally, you commit to providing all relevant information required for your claim, promptly and truthfully.
OUR OBLIGATIONS TO YOU
We commit to accurately processing all information you provide and undertaking necessary actions promptly. We uphold high standards of conduct in dealings with Governmental Departments and institutions. We reserve the right to decline services if providing them may breach these standards. Notification will be provided if we decide not to proceed with a service.
Failure to provide all relevant information within requested time frames absolves us of liability for the outcome of your tax refund claim.
TAX PREPARATION SERVICES
We aim to contact you within 72 hours of completing your information and requesting a call, but this is a guide and may take up to 7 days during busy periods. A fixed fee will be agreed upon after an initial consultation with our tax adviser, based on the information you provide. We reserve the right to renegotiate the fee if the information is incorrect or incomplete.
Upon receipt of all requested information and documents, we will complete your tax return within 7 days (guide timeframe, up to 14 days during busy periods). Approval or discussion of your draft tax return is expected within 7 days of receipt.
We reserve the right to cancel our relationship with you if the information provided is deemed dishonest or fraudulent.
WHAT WE CLAIM BACK FOR YOU
All claims submitted are for a general overpayment of tax, not specific tax rebates like Uniform allowance or Mileage allowance. We claim back overpaid tax for the years specified on the online application form.
Our fee applies to any overpayment resulting from reasons stated above but is not limited to the same.
OUR FEES
We deduct our fee (40% plus VAT) from the total tax refund obtained from HMRC before issuing payment to you. A minimum fee of £25.00 inc VAT applies for any approved claim not covering this sum. Charges apply to all reimbursements and payments received from HMRC.
For tax preparation services, points 5.1 to 5.7 do not apply, as a fixed fee is agreed before work commences.
OUR OBLIGATIONS IN PROCESSING YOUR CLAIM
We typically submit your claim to HMRC within 5 working days of receiving your signed application form. Contact will be attempted for further information, and we reserve the right to take certain actions if necessary.
We are not liable for errors resulting in incorrect tax refunds or claim refusals due to errors on the original claim form. We may make necessary amendments to your claim form before submission.
Claims take approximately 8 to 12 weeks to process, but this timeframe is an estimation and subject to variation due to unforeseen circumstances or internal HMRC delays.
